Before and Afters

What to Expect

Before your treatment it is important to avoid alcohol, blood thinners like ibuprofen or advil (unless contraindicated by your doctor), fish oil, and vitamin E for three days (the longer the better!). This is to avoid excessive bleeding, swelling, and bruising. During your appointment Yulia will first discuss your treatment goals and perform a facial analysis. Prior to injecting, a prescription strength topical numbing cream may be used to help alleviate discomfort. Dermal fillers also contain lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during treatments. Results are often seen immediately but the area may appear fuller due to initial swelling. Bruising and swelling are common side effects and may last up to a week. You can gently ice at home to decrease swelling. Patients will be asked to come in for a two week follow up. Yulia will also follow up with you the evening of/ or morning after the treatment to discuss how the area is healing.

How long do Fillers last?
