Sculptra
Restores skin structure and firmness
Sculptra is one of my favorite treatments for clients who want a refreshed look without looking like they have had anything done. Instead of creating instant volume, it works by encouraging your body to build collagen over time.
Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable that helps restore lost facial support and improve skin quality gradually. The result is subtle volume, smoother contours, and healthier-looking skin that develops naturally and can last over two years.

Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable designed to improve facial structure and skin quality gradually over time. Instead of providing instant volume, it works by encouraging your body to rebuild its own collagen, resulting in subtle, natural-looking improvement.
Sculptra is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible, biodegradable substance that has been used safely in medicine for decades. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of facial wrinkles and volume loss and works by stimulating collagen production in the treated areas. Because this process is gradual, results develop slowly and can last over two years for many patients.

You may be a good candidate if you’ve noticed facial volume loss, skin thinning, or changes in structure and want subtle, long-term improvement rather than instant filler. Sculptra is ideal for clients who prefer gradual, natural-looking results.
During your appointment, I will assess your facial structure, goals, and medical history to determine if Sculptra is the right option for you.
Patients who are pregnant, nursing, or breastfeeding are not candidates for Sculptra treatments.
Avoid Sculptra if you have a history of keloids and hypertropic scars

Most clients tolerate Sculptra very well. The product is typically mixed with lidocaine, and numbing options are available to help keep you comfortable.

Your appointment begins with a detailed facial assessment and treatment plan. Sculptra is placed strategically to support areas of volume loss and collagen decline. The appointment usually takes about 45–60 minutes.
Mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising can occur and is usually temporary.

The number of treatments varies based on your starting point and desired outcome. Some clients benefit from a series, while others need fewer sessions. I’ll recommend a personalized plan after evaluating your facial structure and goals.

Sculptra works gradually. Most clients begin to notice changes within 4–6 weeks, with continued improvement over the following months as collagen develops. Results can last over two years for many clients.

Sculptra requires at-home massaging. I have clients follow the 5-5-5 rule. Massage as instructed for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, and continue for 5 days. Lubricant such as Aquaphor may be used.
Avoid strenuous exercises for at least 24 hours. This is to help prevent bruising. You should stay out of the sun as well, lowering your exposure to direct UV rays.
For at least two to three weeks, stay away from tightening, laser therapy, or other procedures that affect your skin in the treatment area.
With Sculptra, you don’t have to worry about alcohol interacting negatively with the poly L lactic acid in the injection. However, you should still wait at least 24 hours after treatment to help reduce inflammation and bruising.
You generally should not experience any significant downtime after your Sculptra session. You can drive yourself home, return to work, and go about your business as usual.
