Collagen Induction Therapy

With the FDA-Approved Medical Device: the SkinPen®

Collagen Induction Therapy

Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that is designed to stimulate the production of collagen in the skin. The procedure involves using a FDA-approved device, the SkinPen, to create tiny punctures in the skin's surface. This process triggers the body's natural healing response, which includes the production of new collagen and elastin fibers. When combined with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), the results of CIT can be even more impressive. PRP is a concentrated solution of the patient's own blood platelets, which contain growth factors that can further stimulate collagen production and promote healing. CIT may be done with or without PRP.
